Kirsten Banegas
California Miss United States Agriculture
​Kirsten is nineteen years old and loves sharing her agriculture journey. She graduated from El Capitan high school and studied animal science while attending Reedley Junior College. Kirsten started out showing in 4H at eight years old. She showed every small animal until entering highschool where she became a member of the FFA program. She quickly became a competitive large animal showman. While attending El Capitan she obtained her Green Hand, Chapter, State, and American Degree.
Kirsten recently graduated from the San Diego Grooming academy and started her own dog grooming business. She is also heavily involved in her community; where she is the Japatul Grange Dog Project leader, the Sagebrush 4H dog project co-leader, and is a member of the Lakeside Chamber of Commerce.
Since being crowned as a county queen only five months ago, she’s been able to give over 70 hours of volunteer work to her community. She enjoys spending her free time traveling the state giving free showmanship lessons, professionally showing dogs, fishing, volunteering, and spending time with family.
Karstin Wagner

Karstin Wagner is from Lakeside, California. Karstin is the 16 year old daughter of Kim and Dave Wagner. She is currently a junior at River Valley Charter School and is involved in her local Grange group, as well as, travels to different states to compete at national livestock shows. Karstin is currently apart of East County Grange, Western States Red Angus Association, American Red Angus association, and was apart of 4-H for over 8 years. In the 13 years Karstin has been showing she has shown pigs, cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits, and chickens. She currently takes her sheep and goats across the country showing. Karstin also travels to different schools in her county and conduct showmanship lessons and answers any of her peer's questions that they may have about feed, genetics, the art of showing or any general livestock questions. Karstin has great ambition to make the livestock industry better than it was yesterday.
Madison Davison

Madison is 25 years old from the small town of Herald,CA. She attended Chico State University where she graduated with her bachelor’s in agriculture business. She currently works for Wizard Manufacturing in Chico where she gets to communicate daily with growers and farmers all over the world. She has always believed in challenging herself and helping push others to do the same. Madison is excited to continue her agvocating journey through this program!

Shirley Martinez

Shirley Martinez is from Woodlake, CA in Tulare County She has lived in the heart of the Central Valley her entire life. Shirley has worked for the United States Post office for 25 years and has been the Postmaster for the Three Rivers Post Office for the last 11 years. Her’s biggest joy in life is in her family and she has been married to her lovely husband, Richard Martinez, for 35 years. Together the couple shares their only child, Pia Martinez. In her free time, Shirley can often be found spending time with her family and going to estate sales.Shirley has been an agriculturist since she can remember and takes great pride in advocating for industry that feeds the world!
Charlotte Ruth Holland
California Tiny Miss United States Agriculture
Charlotte Ruth Holland is 3 years old and is from San Joaquin County where she lives with her Mom, Dad, brother, sister and dog Jameson. She currently attend St Luke’s Catholic Preschool. Charlotte Ruth enjoys many activities such as, arts & crafts, singing & dancing, exploring, camping, riding dirt bikes and swimming. She loves visiting her grandparents' 7th generation ranch, and can't wait until she old enough to help her Papa with the cows. Since her reign as the 2023 San Joaquin County Tiny Miss United States Agriculture and now the California Tiny Miss United States Agriculture, she has traveled California and toured many farms and agriculture industry facilities. She has had many adventures & must say; it's been GOU-DA!
When Charlotte Ruth grows up, she wants to be an ambulance driver because she want to help people.
Vanessa Hernández-Castañón
California Future Little Miss United States Agriculture
Vanessa Hernández-Castañón is the 6-year-old daughter of Vicky Castañón-Carrillo. She also has a little brother, Gavin, who is 4 years old. Vanessa is in Kindergarten at a Catholic School in San Francisco County California, where she lives. Although Vanessa lives in a city, she is a proud descendent of: corn, pumpkin, beans, wheat, peach , cactus, lettuce, tomatoes, and dairy farmers in Mexico. As well as a generational beneficiary of the Temporary Worker permit holders from Mexico into the USA. Vanessa’s Maternal Great-Grandfather, David Carrillo, entered the U.S. as a “Bracero” in the 1940’s. The Bracero Program issued temporary U.S. work permits to millions of Mexicans to ease labor shortages during World War ll. As a Bracero, who worked in the lettuce fields in California, he was able to send a huge portion of his earnings back to his wife in Mexico, and purchased farmland in his home town in Zacatecas, Mexico. Once the program ended he returned to Mexico, and was able to be a self sufficient farmer in Mexico, and passed on an inheritance, that Vanessa has access to when she visits. During summer breaks from School she will be spending time on his farmland with her family in Mexico to strengthen her Spanish language, and learn about agriculture hands on. Vanessa loves pageants. She enjoys dressing up, modeling, singing-and-dancing, traveling, and meeting new friends

Emily Rose Holland
California Junior Miss United States Agriculture
Emily Rose Holland, is 11 years old and is from San Joaquin County where she lives with her Mom, Dad, brother, sister and dog Jameson. She currently attends Able Charter School as a sixth grader. Emily Rose enjoys many activities such as; horseback riding, camping, riding dirt bikes, playing the guitar, keyboard, violin & ukulele. Since her reign as the 2023 San Joaquin County Junior Miss United States Agriculture and now the 2023 California Junior Miss United States Agriculture began, she has traveled California learning about different agriculture industries! She has also enjoyed giving to my community by participating in 5K events, feeding the homeless, collecting toys for tots, and collecting 141 pounds of canned goods during the holidays. Emily Rose continues to learn the importance of agriculture and hopes to reach her community more in the future! She finds it most important to teach her peers the importance as well, with the hopes that agriculture education will lead us in our future.
Allyson Siebert

Your 2023 California Cover Miss United States Agriculture, Allyson Siebert, loves agriculture and her community. She is heavily involved in FFA as well as her community. She participates in cheerleading as well as track and field. Allyson is a 4th degree blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do where she instructs classes and plays leadership roles. She manages her time well between academics and sports. She is achieving to be a veterinarian as her future career, so she is currently taking dual enrollment classes to speed up that process. Allyson is often busy but she loves helping out, especially if it’s for others.

Danika Flores is 21 years old from Nipomo California and currently attending Chico State University. Double majoring in Agricultural Education and Agricultural Business with a minor in Accounting. On Campus, she is apart of Sigma Alpha a professional Agricultural Sorority, a member in Ag Ambassadors, all while maintaining a job as an loan accountant at Golden State Farm Credit.

Bella Herrera
California Miss Agriculture Advocacy Ambassador
Three-year-old Bella Mia Herrera currently lives in Menifee, California, in Riverside County with her parents, Sonia Rios (of Wasco, CA) and Henry Herrera (of San Diego, CA) and her six-year-old brother Robert. Bella comes from several generations of agriculturalists. Her hobbies include playing outside with her chickens, working in the yard with plants, watching and singing along to Disney Plus, dancing in the living room, playing with cars and farm toys, and playing Candy Land with her big brother.
Bella enjoys making people smile, giving hugs, cracking jokes, playing in parks, and spending time with all her “grandmas” and “grandpas” from throughout local communities. Her favorite foods consist of chocolate milk, macaroni and cheese, French fries and Lucky Charms cereal. Bella’s favorite T.V. shows include P.J. Mask, Pokémon, and Masha and the Bear. Her current favorite movies are Pee Wee’s Big Adventure and Disney’s Moana.
Bella loves to sing and doesn’t have a “favorite” song per se but enjoys listening to movie music scores by Danny Elfan who composed The Nightmare Before Christmas and Beetlejuice. Bella also enjoys listening to production soundtracks by Lin Manuel Miranda who created the soundtracks for the Disney movies Encanto and Moana. Bella has said that one day she would like to meet the Count and Cookie Monster from Sesame Street.
She can’t wait to turn five so that she can join her brother and be a member of her local 4H club, the Murrieta Mustangs.
